    About Me

I live near Sacramento, California. My daughter and I moved here about 2 years ago - sort of a "starting over" move. Love to cook and at one time owned a catering business. Kind of torn between favorite cookbook - have two for different reasons. Julia Child "The Art of French Cooking" (volumes 1 and 2) because I learned so much. "The Joy of Cooking" because it has great recipes. Must admit I am a big fan of Ina Garten - she runs a real close second to Julia Child. Now that life has settled some I hope to be posting some recipes - so far I've only done one.

    Favorite Foods

I don't know if I'm famous for it but everyone loves my steak marinade (#31806). Love Mexican and Chinese. Right now my favorite restaurant is a tapas bar in Sacramento - Aioli. No real favorite as far as cooking - always trying new recipes.
