    "These are fantastic. I have doubled the recipe with success, too. I added dried cherries, anisette liqueur, crushed anise seed, almond extract, anise extract, and toasted almonds. The recipe is simple and yields a hard, bitey, crunchy and incredibly delicious REAL biscotti. Perfection."

    "I added a tsp. of vanilla extract to the dough and only got 10 1/2 muffins (regular size) out of the batter. They took 17 minutes to fully bake at 350 and then dropped easily out of the tin (well buttered with no paper holders). They are a wonderful chewy texture along with a pure pecan pie taste.
