"Loved this soup! The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because of the thyme. I love thyme, but I thought it was just a little too overpowering and the taste of those rich portabellas was muddled a little....Next time I believe I'll just use 1/2 tsp to 3/4 tsp and that should be plenty for our tastes. If you have an immersion blender-this sou..."

"Yikes....were we disappointed! The flavor was strange and unappetizing. The meat soaked up no flavor whatsoever. The only reason this got 2 stars instead of 1 or 0 is because my husband doctored it with bbq sauce, ketchup and goodness knows what else."

"I'm giving this 5 stars based on taste as the base for miso soup. It was so-so good! However, it only gets 2 stars for price...bonito flakes are rather expensive!! Definitely would recommend scouring the internet for a good deal on bonito if you're planning on making this. The store in our area that caters to different ethnicities charges $8.0 ..."

"Yum! When I was a little girl, my mother and I had 'girl' days which always ended with dinner at the Pasta House. This dish was one of our favorites! My mother recently passed and I no longer live anywhere near a Pasta House. So, when I found this recipe, I knew I had to try it. I will say that I used fat free cream, and it was still an amazi..."

"I almost didn't try this recipe because I had already found a no-knead bread recipe that worked for us. I'm so glad I did! This recipe is a-mazing. I've had hit and miss luck with previous no-kneads, but I've made about 4 batches of this and each batch and each loaf from each batch has turned out superb. I've made baguettes, rolls and pizza do..."

"These were a-mazing. I made them for a large easter gathering and set them out on a pretty platter to be admired while we ate our meal. Bad idea, lol. No one, kids-adults-me, could keep their hands off them! We ate more cookies than we did turkey. Note: I didn't have parchment paper, just used the 'baking' version of spray crisco that has flo ..."
