    New Topic Shepherd's Pie Failure in Cooking Q & A

    "Just thought I'd share the bad times as well as the good.

    Yesterday's Shepherd's Pie wasn't good for two reasons. Firstly I mixed swede in with the mashed potato, but the swede should have been cooked for longer and was lumpy. Secondly I topped it off with a crumbly Lancashire cheese instead of the usual cheddar, and it didn't brown in the oven..."
