"There is no other cookie recipe for me and the hub. After trying this Tyler Florence recipe, all other cookie recipes do not measure up. Thanks for posting DoubleA. I referenced this recipe often until I had it memorized from so many batches!

After making these cookies several times, these tweaks make the best cookies:

"I've been eating this by the spoonful for a week now and am in love. I don't remember the last time I had actual marshmallow fluff from a jar, but this is very close to what I remember, and oh so delicious."

"My local asian store was closed by the time I got there tonight and I was in dire need of hoisin to make Char Siu Bao for pork buns. This recipe is extremely close to the real thing. I doubled the recipe and found out halfway through that I was almost out of black bean sauce (go figure! and had to use half black bean sauce and half peanut butte..."

"I had my first ever success with fried chicken using this recipe. Of course, this means one less thing I'm able to convince the hub to take me out to dinner for! This is really a no-fail recipe for deep fry beginners. I used vegetable oil instead of peanut oil and it still came out crispy, juicy and flavorful. Thanks for the post!"

"I made a half batch of these last week and absolutely loved them. The cookie is so buttery and flavorful and matches very well with the chips and nuts. I have a tempermental oven and found that I had to bake the cookies at 350 degrees to avoid too-done edges and not-done-enough centers. Thanks for a great recipe!"

I did find that the temperature was a little high and the cook time was a little long for my oven. The almonds started to get a little too brown after 20 minutes time using ..."

"This sauce recipe is fantastic! It will replace the standard sauce recipe I have been using. The hub and I had this recipe after a day of hiking and could not get enough. Just the right amount of sweet and spicy. I made a few modifications - a half pound of ground mild Italian sausage instead of links, 1/4 cup of sugar only and 1-2 tsp kosher ..."
