    Momma of two, I love cooking comfort food!

    When all else fails, I love cooking something yummy and hearty.

    I dunno...comfort food is just my bag. Keep it authentic, don't take too many shortcuts, but don't make it too time-consuming.

    I don't have too much experience cooking with meat since I started teaching myself to cook when I was still a vegetarian. A lot of things I make will reflect that. I also like keeping it healthful if I can, but sometimes you just need to go all out.

    I have expensive taste overall...and I'm not above endorsing the evil coporations now and then if it's good. (I drink the Starbucks and yes, I will happily and willing shell out the extra cash for the *light* Mocha Frap *with whip*. Tee hee.)

    I wouldn't say I'm the most creative cook, but I rock at improvising and make some killer variations.

    Oh, and I can't give away my husband's alfredo sauce secrets here as much as I'd love to and take the credit....yet might I say..it's damn good!
