I am always on the lookout for new-to-me old cookbooks. I love to read the cookbooks to get ideas and inspiration. I particularly enjoy the ones that read like books. For the amount of cookbooks I own it is surprizing just how little I ever follow a recipe. I am always and forever reinventing recipes and making them suit our tastes.
I love Mexican Food.. but without the heat.. so does that count? But I am slowly but surely building up my tolerence to the heat. I also love anything that involves cheese. Anything.. anykind. And Ironically, some of my favorite foods call for cream cheese.. which hubby despises. I suppose I love his Enchilades best and he loves my chicken and dumplin's.
