I live in a small town in western colorado and I love to cook. I have 2 children, Madison (8) and Aerik (3).
We have obnoxious yellow lab named Hunter and another yellow lab - my baby girl, named Sandy.
I used to do a lot of preserving and canning and enjoy reading, cooking and surfing the internet.
I work for an Internet Marketing company doing online marketing for travel and tourism websties - which is a ton of fun! I have been speaking at conferences and traveling quite a lot. My favorite city for a great meal is Seattle - my favorite food EVAR is a street-food Gyro from the stand 1 block north of the New York Hilton - 54th & 6th!
My current job is a career for me - after my kids are off to school and beyond, I hope I'm still working here!
Update - Its 2010 - Madison is 13 and Aerik is 9 - where did the time go? We've aquired another Lab who is now 3 named sandy - and I'm the Director of Search Strategies and Client Services for the same Internet Marketing company. Love my job and my life.
I love all food, except tuna, liver, salmon and brussel sprouts. I think my favorite home cooked food is a Chow Mein Hotdish that my mother used to make when I was small. My husband doesn't like it so I don't make it much, but when he's out of town hunting, my kids and I live on it. I posted the recipe for you.

"This is a quick casserole, made from pantry items. You can use Canned Chicken or Rotisserie from the deli. My kids DEMAND this on Halloween before Trick-or-Treating. Enjoy!"
