    About Me

    I love to cook and also have a garden every summer. I like to can and make pickles. I work part-time in an architects office that specializes in medical facilities. It is interesting and the people are really nice.

    I have 1 dog (black and white cocker spaniel) and 3 cats. I like to go camping and spend time at the beach.

    I try to walk 5-6 days a week and am trying to lose a goodly amount of weight - which is kind of hard when you love to cook. But, it is also a challenge to make great tasting food that will also be healthy and help me work towards my goal weight.

    Favorite Foods

    I love nice fresh seafood. I have a lot of favorite recipes. I also like to try new recipes - sometime I try them on friends when I probably should be cooking old tried and true standbys. Most of the time it works pretty good.
