    My Journal

I have no recent activity to share.

    About Me

By day I'm an office worker; by night & weekend, a theatre stage manager.  It doesn't give me a lot of time for cooking but I fit it in wherever I can because I love it.

Using pre-packaged foods is not my favorite thing to do but I suppose it's better than fast food.  If I had the time, money and land I'd grow it myself.

Working on my genealogy totally inspired me to go beyond normal day-to-day modern cooking & try new (to me) things like canning.  My ancestors were amazing people who worked hard to get me where I am today.

    Favorite Foods

Let's just say that it would be a much easier list if we just counted the foods I don't like. I'll try almost anything once & generally even the foods I don't like I'll try once a year!
