    Shared Recipe Blue Ceese Coleslaw

"This coleslaw is always a big hit. There is never any leftover. The blue cheese is approximate. You may add more or less depending on how many blue cheese lovers (or haters) are being served."

    Reviewed Hobo Casserole

"How have I lived this long and not heard of this casserole? Like some others I cooked the meat first and drained off the grease. Followed the recipe other than adding some fresh green beans and fresh mushrooms on top of the sliced onions. Definitely a keeper."

    Reviewed Perfect Pasta Salad:

"This salad is incredible! Even hubby, who isn;t a pasta salad person loved it and asked for some leftovers in his lunch today. I followed the recipe exactly, except for the pepperoni. I always buy pre-packaged pepperoni at the supermarket deli but accidentally grabbed hard salami this time. Didn;t seem to make a any difference. This will ..."

    Reviewed Grandpa's Sauerkraut and Kielbasa

"This dish was WONDERFUL. Gotta love those one pot, fix it and forget it meals.Followed the recipe exactly except for the potatoes. All I had were small russets so I just halved them and they held up just fine. Since we are all kielbasa and kraut lovers, this will definitely be amoung the monthly rotations."

    Reviewed Grandma's Cheese Straws

"This was my first attempt at cheese straws and they were wonderful. I followed the advise of other viewers and used Tobasco Sauce in place of the water and cayenne pepper instead of paprika. It definitely took more water to make the dough come together. Can;t help but think the recipe should read 3 Tbsp water rather than 3 tsp."

    Reviewed Beef-Barley Soup

"This is GREAT soup, Dh loved it. Didn't change a thing except to pre-cook the barley. That took care of the thickness and the consistency was perfect."

Reviewed Crock Pot Beef Vegetable Soup

"This was a fabulous soup recipe. Made it for SuperBowl and it was a huge hit on such a cold evening. There is no doubt the recipe would be fabulous as is but made a couple of changes for our preferences. I omitted the onions and bouillon and replaced with an envelope of onion soup. Since we are watching carbs I also omitted the potatoes and replace..."
