    My Journal

Reviewed Thai Noodles With Spicy Peanut Sauce

"Although this dish turned out to be very tasty, the sauce was like wallpaper paste and too peanut buttery. I ended up adding about a cup of chicken broth to thin it down. I also added some diced chicken that I saut?ed and cut down on the garlic. This is why I could only rate it at 3 stars. After modifying the recipe, it was good."

Shared Recipe Chicken Pasta With Apples and Walnuts

"This chicken dish is loaded with apples and walnuts cooked in a rich chicken broth with goat cheese lightly seasoned with thyme and served over pasta of your choice. A nice green salad, a loaf of fresh bread and a nice glass of Pinon Noir and you have a great meal!"

    Reviewed X-Rated Rita

"This is fantastic! A little sour and a little sweet. I didn't have any limes so I put about a tablespoon of frozen limeade in it. This is my new favorite drink!"

    Reviewed Mahogany Beef Stew

"This was amazing! I sauted the onions and garlic in some olive oil in my pressure cooker. Removed it and then seared the meat and then added back in the onions and the rest of the ingredients and cooked it at 15PSI for about 40 minutes. The meat was so tender! I then thickened the sauce with some cornstarch. I served it over buttered noodles. ..."

Reviewed Tender Whole Wheat Yogurt Pancakes

"These are really good! I think they would have been bland without adding some fresh blueberries and chopped walnuts though. I also added 1/2 teaspoon of salt to the batter."

Shared Recipe Shrimp and Bean Salad

"A very light, healthy cold shrimp salad that goes together quick and is so refreshing on a hot, summer day. I may even try adding some hearts of palm next time."

    Reviewed Feta Dill Bread

"Very soft bread that is very rich and has a lot of flavor. Next time I will add more dill as I couldn't taste it but this is excellent."
