    About Me

I'm a graduate student working on my thesis and a research associate, so I spend A LOT of time in the lab! This schedule means I don't have a lot of time to cook. Sometimes I'm in the lab by 6 am and I don't get home until 8 pm! I use this website to find a lot of fast, easy, and inexpensive make-ahead recipes that I can take to school and snack on throughout the week. This website is also great for posting recipes I've collected, so I don't have to remember where I wrote them down!

    Favorite Foods

I don't really have one particular favorite food or dish to cook. My family loves the pumpkin spice bread I make at Christmas - the recipe came from a college friend's mother. My husband and I are avid Auburn football fans, so we tailgate a lot in the fall, and our friends love when I make my layered mexican bean dip. I'm trying to modify that one to make it healthier, but they seem to be biggest fans of the original, fat-filled version!
