I am a Stay at Home Mom of four -- a ten year old daughter who is starting Fifth Grade, and a 8 year old son who is going into Third Grade. Our youngest daughter will be three and is starting Early 3's Preschool this year. The kids are not only busy in school but we've also got Basketball, Cross Country, Softball and Football practices to contend with and dance lessons for the little one! And if things aren't crazy enough we just had a baby boy in April of 2010! My husband and I have been married almost 11 years! I am very active at our school and volunteer twice a week. I have loved to cook ever since I was a little girl, and have fond memories of helping my Mom and Grandma while growing up. I love to read cookbooks and cooking magazines as well as cooking supply catalogs (all those neat gadgets!).
Comfort foods, foods I remember my Grandma making. She's no longer with us, but I feel close to her just making the foods she used to make.
