"I made this today for my partners office pitch in. I doubled everything. I do not tend to measure. I'm an organic chef, I just throw stuff in. The butter, garlic, scallions, & poppyseeds smelled so good as I stirred them on the stove before dumping them over the top of the bread.

By day I am an Artist/Tech at an imaging company. Also an avid fitness & nutrition buff, aspiring trainer. I love my partner, family, friends & pupdog more than anything and love to cook/bake for them!! I think cooking/baking is most definitely therapeutic!! I love the how experience and of course watching people enjoy my dishes. :)
I hope to open a catering business & maybe even a restaurant some day so haven't decided if I am going to share my own recipes. Just collecting yours for now. haha :)
Ya Hungry? I'll Feed Ya!!

We are an 85% vegetarian household, but do love some animal dishes. My veggie lasagna or lemon herb chicken ring are always gobbled up. I make a fabulous bacon brussel spout dish that has changed the minds of many non-veg eaters...!! Squash, pumpkin, broccoli, tomatoes...ahhh... veggies are so wonderful to cook with....
My heart lies with pastries & desserts though. My all time fav (& award winning) pastry is a choux puff pastry ring filled with chocolate mousse, topped with melted ganache, & the center of the ring I fill with strawberries. It's an intensive recipe, but so worth it! I love walking through a party with this. Everyone stops talking and follows me like drooling dogs. haha :) Sometimes I make the mousse and the hubby & I just sit on the couch and dip into it with cookies, graham crackers, or fingers. :)
