I have no recent activity to share.

    About Me

I live in the beautiful N. Georgia mountains and love going for walks. Currently I am semi-retired from the health field so I have lots more time to cook and what a joy it is to access the Internet for new recipes!
I grew up with a mother who loved to cook and when I went out on my own the first cookbook I purchased back in the early 70s was Ten Talents which I still use. My passion is studying and teaching the Bible!

    Favorite Foods

I love to bake. Cookies, cakes, pies, candy and all made with whole grains and natural sweeteners, some sugar-free with Stevia, a plant sweetener.
I don't like to go out to eat, believe it or not! The best food is made at home.
I like to convert 'junk' recipes (white flour/white sugar) to healthy ones. If something I make is a flop I think of some other way to use it so we end up with many one time wonders that are not to be repeated!
