    About Me

I'm a PGY 2 in Family Medicine at the University of Alberta - thus I have little time to cook or bake but when I do I love to try something special/unique/difficult/YUMMY. Because my father is German he had me spend a whole summer (4 months) back in undergrad baking only German cakes and other desserts - I learned a lot from that summer, and my family gained a lot of weight!

As much as I like baking, I also love cooking - if only I had time! Once I do, I will learn to cook better!

My favorite part about making food? The presentation! I love decorating, arranging, folding, dusting and anything else to make it look yummier. I sometimes will spend more time decorating a cake than baking it, which says a lot knowing how time-constrained I am.

    Favorite Foods

I'll eat anything, but I love BBQ ribs, BBQ anything really! I love icecream and baking cakes (more than eating them).

I love to cook for my husband, who loves loves loves meatloaf, banana cream pie, liver and onions, chocolate chip cookies, fudge brownies and hazelnut cake!
