    About Me

I love to cook almost any kind of food, especially for other people. My kids are my most honest critics! I like taking recipes and making them healthy by removing fat and adding fiber. I love to run, rollerblade, weight train and salsa dance. I hink one of my favorte cookbooks is Lighthearted Everyday Cooking, by Anne Lindsay (I cook every day of the week!), and I enjoy Cooking Light magazine. I have an Indian cookbook I like, and for traditional holiday recipes I keep going back to my ancient copy of the Chatelaine cookbook (from Canada). I often go to the Food Network for recipes, although we don't get the television station anymore.

    Favorite Foods

Indian curry, quesadillas with avocado and spinach, manicotti, any kind of salad
