    About Me

I love my husband, my dogs, my career and cooking! I have lived in two different parts of the US, and the cooking styles are very different. I am sick of chicken, I don't cook it much, we eat mostly beef, pork and shrimp. I am passionate about perfecting home cooked prime rib, that is a work in progress.

I love to travel and experience the local restaurants. For me, a perfect meal would be at a mom and pop restaurant, ordering whatever the waitress tells you is the best and to shake hands with that owner to congratulate them on a meal well done.

My pet peeves are overdone beef, snotty servers and anyone that cannot appreciate a bit of humor and/or sarcasm.

    Favorite Foods

My favorite foods are melt in your mouth prime rib, anything with garlic and Italian cuisine. My "famous for" dish is Montana Man's Meal, a real stick to your ribs comfort food. I also make a yummy lasagna that would make Tony Soprano smile.

For restaurants, I recently discovered the Ale House at Rail City Casino in Reno, NV. Fabulous food at great prices. Their prime rib (of course) is wonderful, I have had prime rib at three times the price that wasn't as good. I may have to move to Reno because of this restaurant. =)
