    About Me

I am 30 years old and have recently moved to the city of North Battleford. I was enrolled at the University of Saskatchewan in the nursing program, but I have currently put that career on hold to be a stay-at-home mom.

I am a common law wife to my partner Trent and a mother of our two little boys: Kaden who is 2 and Keegan who is 15 months.

I love music and some might say that I'm a walking musical library. I love movies, reading, singing, playing pool, the beach and my friends.

I don't have one favourite cookbook, but I do like the Company's Coming series, anything to do with baking, soup or pasta cookbooks, and basically any recipe that sounds interesting to me.

My passion is music and I hope to perform at the international level someday. I play piano. I was in choir from grade 3 through 12 and now sing in kareoke bars.

My pet peeves are recipes that don't work, ignorant people, bad drivers and snow. LOL

    Favorite Foods

My favourite dish to make is Chicken Oscar with a vegetable packet (potatoes, onions, and carrots) served with apple pie.

As for dishes that I am famous for... my mother is my number one fan. The first time I cooked Thanksgiving supper, she told me that it was better than hers! My Chicken Oscar and marinaded steaks don't get any complaints either.

My favourite restaurants in Saskatoon are The Keg, Red Lobster and The Cave. My other favourite restaurants are: The Olive Garden in Edmonton and Chef Dano's in Prince Albert. Chef Dano's has the most amazing seafood linguine you will ever taste and his caesar salad has real garlic, green onions and grated parmesan cheese in it. It's simply to die for!

As for favourite foods in general, I like a wide variety. My motto is that I will try almost anything once. Some of my all time favourites are: potatoes, steak, all pasta, strawberry rhubarb pie, borcht, all soups, stew, seafood, anything made on the BBQ and beef dips.
