    About Me

Prior to this year (2010) I was an overweight lousy cook, whose family detested when it was my turn to cook. After undergoing a gastric bypass, I found myself faced with the problem of lack of variety and multiple cravings for foods that were not on the list of recipes supplied by my doctor. So I started researching recipe sites and experimenting in the kitchen and adapted existing recipes to fit both my cravings and my nutritional restrictions. The outcome, a list of high protein, low fat, low carb and low calorie recipes that taste great but also that my whole family can enjoy. Here I am 130 pounds lighter and a more knowledged cook whose family look forward to mealtime. The benefits, my family and I are much healthier and eat better. The downfall, now I am the one who does all of the cooking.
