    Reviewed Penne Rosa

     |  By tiffanylynn444

"This was delicious and so easy to prepare. I've never had it at Noodles, but I know it sure is good. I made it with whole wheat penne - the dish is so flavorful you couldn't tell. I used fresh baby spinach and also minced up a couple of cloves of garlic since I love garlic. Will definitely be making this again. Thanks for posting."

"These are great tasting and very easy to make. I used fat free banana cream yogurt as that's what I had and I also put walnuts in the batter. This made 9 generous sized muffins which took about 20 minutes to bake. They're nice and moist and have great banana flavor. Thanks Kittencal"

"My DH says this is a winner! I made last night and followed the recipe except cut back on the butter to 5 Tblsp. instead of the full 1/2 cup. And I also used Panko crumbs, garlic and a splash of white wine as others suggested. I put them under the broiler the last 3 minutes so they came out nicely browned. Also served with rice and the sauce a..."

"I made these the first time for this Christmas and was a little worried if they would look good with the layering involved. But the directions were excellent and they were actually quite fun to make and to see they came out so well. And the taste was excellent - followed the recipe exactly and everyone gave them high marks. A definite keeper fo..."

"I prepared this as written except halved everything since it was just for DH and myself. It was very easy to prepare and it was excellent! The shallot and touch of nutmeg gave the cream sauce a real nice taste that went very well with the fish. This is definitely a keeper - thanks for posting"

"I made as directed except for the nuts as my DH unfortunately can't eat nuts. After the 5 minutes I went to flatten them and saw they had totally flattened and spread out into one another. So I just baked the additional 6 minutes. They weren't the best looking only because they spread out into one another but they were very good tasting. I'll ..."

"I was looking for a lowfat, lower carb treat for me and my DH. This fit the bill very nicely. It was very easy to make. I used whole wheat pastry flour and reduced the Splenda brown sugar to 1/2 c. as my applesauce was sweetened and chunky - it made for nice apple chunks in the muffins. I used the full 6 tbsp. of cocoa and was glad I did - the..."
