With 2 jobs, I find I don't have the time to prepare dinners the way I used to when I was a stay at home mom. I'm finding great recipes here on Recipezaar that help me with ideas on how to incorporate quick and healthy meals during the week. I own a home-based franchise in the preventative health care business where our leading product specializes in fat loss, inch loss, and cardiovascular care. I've always been very health conscience so that's right up my alley. I also work in an office as an administrator for an engineering firm. Bob and I bought a beautiful house in a small town in Ontario. We love to try new tastes and I enjoy experimenting with different recipes. The problem is I find it difficult following a recipe exactly as written. I'm always adjusting the ingredients to our likes. I just have to remember to write down the changes I make because if it's a keeper, I never remember what I did. I wish I had more time to post all the recipes I make and love but my time is limited. I spent 18 years at home raising my kids and had time to make all meals from scratch for my family. Even the baby food.
My passions are my kids - 24, 22, 19 years old, and of course my DH, Bob who is the absolute love of my life.
My favorite foods are pizza, vegetables, appetizers, casseroles, soups & stews, (not necessarily in that order). I also love creamy sauces and gravies. I like to try different ethnic foods at restaurants. My DH introduced me to sushi. Now we frequent a close Japanese restaurant in town to satisfy our cravings.
