"I can't believe only 2 people have reviewed this recipe. I have been making it for several years & it is one of the treats everyone requests at Christmas. I know our friends south of the border don't have Old Dutch Popcorn Twists, but they could make it with Chester's butter flavored Puffcorn by FritoLay. Great recipe, a must try for anyone who..."

"I made these for the kids for lunch today. They were great! I used chicken hotdogs instead of beef. My batter was really thick, but coated the hotdogs very nicely. I found it easier to use a pie plate to put the batter in & coat the hotdogs. They cooked up wonderfully. I was able to make the whole package of 12 hotdogs up. My deep fryer is ..."

"I have made these several times & keep forgetting to post a review. They are so easy to make. I usually make them as stated in the recipe, although I sub bread flour for all purpose. I made hotdog & hamburger buns this morning. I use a muffin top pan for the burger buns & a parchment lined cookie sheet for the hotdog buns. Fast, easy & tasty,..."

"Try toasting your bread then butter it & add the sugar & cinnamon. You can use brown sugar, white sugar or powdered/icing sugar. The sugar will melt into the butter."

"Great recipe. I did use a mix of frozen broccoli & cauliflower, I also added some chopped fresh mushrooms. I left out the onions as I do not like them. I cut back on the amount of mayo as noted in some of the other reviews. I topped this with some toasted buttered bread crumbs & sesame seed seasoned with smoked paprika & a pinch of chipotle chi..."

"Wonderful cake. Canadian Living recipes are usually quite good & this was no exception. I followed the instructions, but had to use frozen blueberries. It is actually quite a delicate cake with great flavour. I just dusted it with icing sugar rather than making the icing for it, and found that was enough. I will be making this again. Thanks ..."

"Like everyone else, I had this often as a teenager. We never used pickled bologna, just regular. I have also made this with chicken bologna. It is so good served on fresh, homemade buns. Great recipe!"

"This was quite a tasty loaf. I used olive oil, chopped & toasted my pecans, chopped whole dates & used frozen mashed bananas. I also added the lemon zest as the previous reviewer had mentioned that it was not very tangy. It produced quite a dense loaf. It was lovely toasted & buttered for breakfast. The lemon zest didn't really add much to t..."

"Don't have a pastry chef machine, or don't know what one is, don't worry. This is a great recipe. I saw that mummy had another recipe posted using the pastry chef machine & it was for a sausage roll, so I said well this should be easy enough to do without the machine. I mixed the filling as per the directions, but I did use Craisins (dried cran..."

"Love this idea! I have 3 avocados that are ripe right now & I know I won't be able to eat all of them. I will update this with my star rating after I have tried them frozen. Thanks for posting Mama :"
