"I have not tried your recipe yet, but just had to comment on it. I have known for many years that KFC had nutmeg in the seasoning mix. Yours is one of the few recipes that I have seen that includes nutmeg in the ingredients. Good job!"

"This is a great recipe. I made 2 loaves & baked it in pans. I left one plain & made the other into a cinnamon swirl loaf. I did mix & knead my dough in my KA mixer & it worked fine. The bread has a lovely sourdough flavour. It came out with a nice crispy crust even though I did not put water in the oven while baking. I will make this recipe ..."

"Great recipe. I did use a mix of frozen broccoli & cauliflower, I also added some chopped fresh mushrooms. I left out the onions as I do not like them. I cut back on the amount of mayo as noted in some of the other reviews. I topped this with some toasted buttered bread crumbs & sesame seed seasoned with smoked paprika & a pinch of chipotle chi..."

"Don't have a pastry chef machine, or don't know what one is, don't worry. This is a great recipe. I saw that mummy had another recipe posted using the pastry chef machine & it was for a sausage roll, so I said well this should be easy enough to do without the machine. I mixed the filling as per the directions, but I did use Craisins (dried cran..."

"I made this as one of the soups I served last night for a regular get together with friends. I only made 1/2 the recipe, but followed a couple of the suggestions in other reviews. I used the full 8 oz of sliced musrhooms, 1/4 tsp nutmeg, about 1/2 tsp of celery salt & added 1/3 c of heavy cream at the end before serving. I might add just a litt..."

"Wonderful soup. It was a hit with my 88 year old FIL. I did cut back on the spices for him a bit, but added a pince of chipotle chili to my own bowl. I added some celery & frozen corn, frozen black beans, some chicken broth, yellow & orange peppers as that was what I had, and then realized I was out of diced tomatoes so used a bit of V8 juice. ..."

"I just tried this recipe today. I wondered if it the innkeeper had left out baking powder or baking soda in the recipe, but it was not needed. I was a little concerned about how much the cookies would spread as they were made with butter & not very much flour, so I added 1 tsp of Instant ClearJel to the recipe to stop them from spreading too muc..."

"I have made this for years. I found the recipe on a Duncan Hines cake mix box. They called it a pound cake. It did not have the poppy seed in it, and said to bake in a tube pan. We would glaze it with just a simple glaze made from icing/powdered sugar & lemon juice poured over it on the serving plate. Try this using a chocolate cake mix & i..."

"I can't believe only 2 people have reviewed this recipe. I have been making it for several years & it is one of the treats everyone requests at Christmas. I know our friends south of the border don't have Old Dutch Popcorn Twists, but they could make it with Chester's butter flavored Puffcorn by FritoLay. Great recipe, a must try for anyone who..."
