"6/1/10 I made this this past weekend for Memorial Day. It was good but I could only rate it three stars because honestly I couldn't notice any difference from other potatoe salad recipes. Maybe it is because I normally put celery, onion and eggs in my potatoe salad anyway. The only thing I changed in the recipe was to use only half the amount o..."

"I made this for supper today and it was very good. The only changes I made was didn't have any fresh garlic so I used extra garlic powder, and I didn't have parsley so added one teaspoon of dried basil. I browned two pork chops and italian sausage to add. Like some of the other reviews we also like more seasoning so added an additional teaspoon ..."

"I read this recipe but did not even try it. I have been married to a puerto rican for more than 35 years and have been to Puerto Rico many, many times and have never seen rice and beans prepared in any way even close to this...."

"This was good. Very moist, however not very Cherry flavored as I had expected. Took 20 minutes longer to bake. I think I might try it again next time ommitting the cinnamon as it may overpower the cherry flavor and also substitute almond flavoring for the vanilla as other users suggested. I think I will also increase the bake temp to 325 degrees..."

"I tried this recipe because I liked the idea of the rice a roni also. My family thought it had to much rice for the amount of meat. So I made it again with a few changes. I cooked the meat and onion as usual and added a 15 oz can of tomato sauce to it. I also added Half of the package of rice a roni DRY - not cooked. But I used ALL of the seaso..."

"I made this yesterday and it was okay. I guess I was expecting more because of all the high reviews. I think I could have just made some creamed chicken and added cheese to the sauce and served over bisquits for about the same result...."

"Our family loves this also. However I eliminate one of the pans by frying the diced bacon in a large pan or dutch oven. When the bacon is done I simply add the chopped cabbage to that same pot and cook with a lid till done, stirring occasionally. While cabbage is cooking I boil the noodles. When the cabbage is done, I combine the noodles and t..."
