I am interested and fairly good at a number of crafts (in fact the running joke in my family is that between my sisters and me the only think that we CAN'T make is MONEY! - something that I'm in the process of changing).

I have been making a lot of vegetarian soups and stews the past few years. I'm almost a master at taking store-bought things and turning them into instant meals when company shows up unannounced - but I do NOT enjoy that. It is an interesting challenge for me to find something that we both like to eat that is fun for me to make as well. I have a couple of ethnic recipes that I just love to make and taste rich enough that they satisfy quite a lot of my non-vegetarian friends. But what I reallllly enjoy making is candies and sweets... oh, wait, maybe it's eating them that I enjoy! (Maybe both!) ;o9
