"Fixed it just like you said in the recipe, but wasn't in no hurry, so defrosted the bird, rubbed with the herb & spice mix, put in plastic bag & in fridge overnight. Have a 6 1/2 Qt. oval slow-cooker, coated it with Pam, followed the recipe to the "T" & cooked it for the full time. Came home & house smelled heavenly. Bird feel off the bone & meat w..."

    About Me

Learned how to cook from my grandmother when I was young. Mom worked & she had lots of time to teach me. Love fixing all kinds of food, but new things are an adventure. This web-site gives me the freedom to explore. I now fix food for our MANNA ministry at church. We fix meals for new mothers for 2 weeks to give them a rest,& dad a break. So much enjoyment in this now that I'm retired.

    Favorite Foods

Just about anything is O.K. with me. People like my Pumpkin soup that I found in Jeff Smiths cook book. I use all home made ingredients. Don't go out to restaurants much but when I do it's usally Oriental. They have the right touch when it comes to cooking. Boy do those folks know how to blend flavors.
