"I took this to a potluck and it got rave reviews. I was really unsure of how much bread crumbs to use, so I used about 3/4 of the container of Progresso Italian style bread crumbs for 1.5 recipes. I might try it with a little less next time, but we really like the added flavor from the Italian style crumbs. Also, I only used about 2 teaspoons s..."

"So hearty and tasty. Also quite flexible as I adapted to what I had on hand. Into the crockpot I threw an old ham bone from the freezer, 3 cans of chicken broth, 1 cup each split peas and brown lentils, the veggies and all the spices. Cooked it on low all day. At the end, I tipped in some red wine (maybe a quarter cup. It was too salty, but..."

"Fabulous flavor and so easy! I was serving both steak and chicken for a company dinner party, so made this sauce and served it in a gravy boat. It was a great hit ... and almost everyone commented on the good smells when they walked in the front door."

"So easy and so yummy. I cut up russet potatoes into chunks, used baby carrots, and La Victoria mild thick and chunky salsa. Used the auto setting on my crockpot from 8 am to 5:30pm. All the liquid was absorbed into the potatoes and the meat was very tender and moist. Perfect!"

"I liked this a lot with a grilled chicken breast. I did not care for it with tortilla chips."

"With the potato, this was a bit more work than my other facaccia recipe, but the end result was very good. I had a bit of a problem with the center not being really done when the edges were quite done. I am wondering if I should remove the bread from the oven while it preheats up to temperature; or maybe I need to make sure my pan underneath has..."

"I really liked the combination of the distinctively different flavors in these wraps. I doubled the sauce because i thought there would not be enough of i. Won't do that again! I also might cut down on the garlic in the sauce next time."

"This got mixed reviews in my house. I would say that those who like "down home cooking" gave it higher scores than those who prefer more exotic foods. My favorite part was that it was very quick and easy to prepare."
