"I quadrupled the recipe and it was ok. I used the roasted tomatoes and a 7 oz. can of green chiles. I didn't think the recipe had a lot of flavor, so I added a tablespoon of my taco seasoning (not store bought. Then it was really good! "This soup is very good. I doubled the recipe, used button mushrooms instead of shiitake (what I had on hand and used half low-sodium vegetable stock. It was wonderful! I brought the rest to work for lunch the next day and it was even better."

"This soup is wonderful for those rainy days. I substituted 2 artificial sweetener packets for the orange juice and cayenne pepper for the red pepper flakes. Also, I used my immersion blender-- much easier than transferring hot soup from one pot to another. The taste was sweet with a kick. I will definitely make this again!"
