    Reviewed Benihana Japanese Onion Soup

"Everyone loves this recipe. I made the soup stock from a whole chicken and oxtail both wrapped in cheesecloth. And simmered vegetables in the stock and then when soft, very finely pureed them and put that back into the stock. I did add 2 TBS of beef boullion granules and a little bit of ginger and extra garlic which made the very large pot of so..."

    About Me

Hi, I am an internist who loves to prepare lavish feasts for "mother celebrations" as well as intimate dinners for 40. For fun: I do it all. Fav cookbook: Tyler Florence's The Ultimate. Passions: LIFE! No pet peeves. If I had a month off (yeah, right) I would fly to New Zealand for three weeks and then Madagascar with Tommy.

    Favorite Foods

Love to prepare Seared Wasabi tuna or my kick ass shrimp salad. What I'm famous for in my family is challenging because I come from a long line of terrific, inventive cooks. My nephew, Fletcher, loves my egg salad and my dad and Tommy love anything I make including paella. I like to prepare it all except for eggplant, liver, and tripe. Fav restaurant: 21 Club and Peter Luger's(NYC), Rebecca's (Greenwich), Burn's(Tampa), Top Of The World(Vegas), The Awahnee(Yosemite), Furnace Creek Inn(Death Valley), The Taos Inn(N.M.), The Four Seasons(Boston), anywhere in Paris, No where in London, this great little place in the NE of Scotland that the name escapes me at this minute, Bleachers with Tommy in St. Pete for wings!
