    About Me

Hey there............ I'm a Yankee (born and raised in Rhode Island), but live in the wonderful Southwest. A nurse by trade, but a chef by choice. I spend most my free time traveling in and around the New Mexico area. Love the mountains of Ruidoso and the culture of Santa Fe. I take care of my parents (Mom has Alzheimers and is extremely active at 81, Dad is a living breathing miracle of a man at 84. EVERY woman deserves one JUST like him, however, I do believe they broke the mold). I travel with them in their Airstream in an attempt to keep them as "normal" as possible. We are a musical family and enjoy dining and entertaining as much as possible. No kids from this shoot, although I raised an army. Have 16 kids (foster children as well as step-children). All have been the light of my life.

    Favorite Foods

Probably have to say that Mexican cuisine is my favorite. My former husband was from Northern Italy so my mother-in-law made sure that Italian food was a mainstay. Unfortunately my husband believed that my cooking was far better than any restraurant, so we stayed in more than eating out. My favorites are the local holes in the wall. Look forward to sharing our faves with you. Bon Apetite!
