New Topic Humane Society in Community Cafe
":( It has been a very sad day for me. I had to take my dogs to the humane society today. They were 3 yrs. old, both female and nice loving dogs. I just couldn't give them the love and attention that they needed and deserved. I just never had to do anything like this before. I work full time now and the dogs were more of a chore than something ..."

New Topic Brother-in-law passing in Community Cafe
"My husband's brother passed away 2 days ago. This man has not been in our lives for 32 years. Our children have to be introduced to their cousins and even their uncle. Should the kids go to the funeral home just because their dad expects them? It is about a 2 hour trip to the funeral home and they both have kids of their own. They have no clue..."

We live in the country outside a small town in southwestern PA - no neighbors in sight. I have 3 great kids, 2 great son-in-laws, and 4 grandchildren. Kids are 34,29,24 - 2 girls and a boy. Grandkids are 8,6,2 & 1 . I enjoy cooking and baking for my family. I love to have everyone over for dinner and do enjoy the "hustle, bustle, and noise" of a growing family. My husband says he is blessed with a wife that "still cooks from scratch" and that enjoys cooking. My husband and I would love to travel. Our favorite destination is the Outer Banks in North Carolina - good food, nice people.
My favorite foods are fish, esp. shrimp and crab. I love good old fashioned cooking. My family loves my Hamburg Casserole and Banana Pineapple Dessert and always ask for seconds. My favorite restaurant is The Hibachi Grill in Morgantown, WV. and close runner-up is the Olive Garden. I enjoy trying new foods.
