"Creamy and less sweet than traditional buttercream frosting, this was really unbelievably good (the flour and granulated sugar set off warning lights, but I forged ahead.
I used all butter, cke flour and superfine sugar (just to be sure and everything turned out perfectly! This will be a standby: I like it better than cream cheese frosting."

"Very light, tasty shortbread-like cookies. I used butter-flavored Crisco and they were a big hit. Thanks for sharing this!"

"I used vanilla yogurt instead of milk and only half of the sweetened condensed milk (because the yogurt was already sweet and it was the best frozen yogurt I've made in an ice cream maker. Lots of possibilities with other fruit, too, but the pineapple was fabulopus--and it was so darned easy, with no precooking! Thanks for sharing!"

"I looked and looked, and no amount was given for the tomato sauce! So I guessed: I added 1 14-oz can, and it seemed to work just fine. It made a nice stew, the herbs were prominent, and as with many stews, it was better the second day. I think this would make a great slow cooker dish as well. This dish is very similar to a Caribbean dish with pine..."

"These reminded me of rugelach, and I enjoyed the filling, and the ease of making the tarts.I made a second batch of filling and used it in roll-up cinnamon rolls--another great use! Thanks for a great idea and a great recipe."

"I loved the chicken and sauce over egg noodles. It tasted so rich, the flavors blended well, and it makes a good use of the lowly chicken thigh :-"

"I enjoyed the blend of flavors: creamy, rich, a bit dry, but I used rather large potatoes so that's probably why. I love that extras can be prepared in advance. Great job!"
