"Creamy and less sweet than traditional buttercream frosting, this was really unbelievably good (the flour and granulated sugar set off warning lights, but I forged ahead.
I used all butter, cke flour and superfine sugar (just to be sure and everything turned out perfectly! This will be a standby: I like it better than cream cheese frosting."

"I used vanilla yogurt instead of milk and only half of the sweetened condensed milk (because the yogurt was already sweet and it was the best frozen yogurt I've made in an ice cream maker. Lots of possibilities with other fruit, too, but the pineapple was fabulopus--and it was so darned easy, with no precooking! Thanks for sharing!"

"It all worked as described, but I really missed the ingredient of ginger in these dumplings: personal preference, probably! Having it in the dipping sauce was helpful. The flavors blend nicely, and I liked the extra kick from the jalapeno."

"A very rich smoothie that feels like a creamy dessert. It is wonderful. but in future, I think I'd thin it a bit with soy milk and stretch it to two servings. I did use a honey graham cracker (all I had at home and I believe it enhanced the flavor without really changing it from the original. The chocolate chips did blend in, but with little choc..."

    Reviewed Apple Crumb Cheesecake Pie
    Handle
     |  By Deb's Recipes

"Some of the apples got dried out, something that would be helped by a quick saute before loading on the cheesecake. Otherwise, great flavor, a hint of citrus making it a very good complement to the apples. I enjoyed this cheescake recipe!"

"I looked and looked, and no amount was given for the tomato sauce! So I guessed: I added 1 14-oz can, and it seemed to work just fine. It made a nice stew, the herbs were prominent, and as with many stews, it was better the second day. I think this would make a great slow cooker dish as well. This dish is very similar to a Caribbean dish with pine..."
