    About Me

    I live in Bathurst in country New South Wales, Australia. We have a fairly famous car race here every year, but other than that, Bathurst is a great place to live. Not too big, not too small.

    I have two cats, Lizzie & Baby, a border collie that I share with my BF, Millie, a galah (which is a small cockatoo), Ernie, and a saddleback pig named Sweetie who loves to cuddle.

    My BF has a largish wheat farm and I spend a fair bit of time there working in our veggie patch and orchard (sounds more impressive than it is, but it is getting there!).

    I work for the NSW State govt, but don't hold that against me.

    Favorite Foods

    Don't have any particular favourite food. I am a vegetarian, and have been for 15 or so years, so I haven't eaten or cooked any meat or fish in quite some time.

    I make a rather good pumpkin and leek rissotto that has been tagged "Emma Rissotto" by my friends. I also love a carrot and leek soup that I stole and altered from Judy Davie (Check out her book, The Food Coach). My Fav dessert is Aine McAteer's Chocolate Mouse Cake (Recipes to Nurture), where the main ingredient is Tofu, though you'd never know it (I know this is so, because I usually don't tell firstimers what it's made of before they try it).
