    Reviewed Spiced Pumpkin Cupcakes

    "These are wonderful. I've never had such beautiful cupcakes before I frosted them - they came out very well. The frosting is very yummy too. Cupcake and frosting are a great pair! Very moist and flavorful. I had extra batter so I made 12 mini cupcakes in addition to the 12 regular cupcakes. Mini cupcakes baked in about 9-11 minutes."

    Reviewed Mustard Balsamic Chicken Marinade

    "This recipe is quite tasty, and my fiance agrees. I will definitely be making this again! I used dijon mustard and added in some lemon zest (that might make it a bit too lemony for some people, but I enjoyed it) and EVOO. I also marinated for about an hour and a half. Thanks for sharing!"

    About Me

    Undergraduate student in Virginia studying biology (pre-vet). I've always loved cooking, and am very proud that I have gotten to the point where I can make-up my own recipes and don't have to use measuring cups except on new and difficult recipes. Good cooking is important on campus as the dining hall's food is not so great (I hate that they use WAY too much soy sauce on oriental dishes). My passion for cooking began with a kid's cookbook made by kids. I love to read nonfiction (and some fiction), volunteer at the local SPCA, stay fit, and hang-out with friends when not studying biology.

    Favorite Foods

    My favorite restaurant is Olive Garden (I have a weakness for good Italian food). My favorite dishes are usually Italian, but I enjoy Mexican dishes once in a while as well. I hate vinegar, really spicy foods, and too much salt or soy sauce. I have a gigantic sweet tooth.
