Reviewed Addictive Asparagus
"This is my favorite asparagus recipe. I can't endorse it enough! People rave about it and it is easy to prepare and SO much more interesting than most preparations. It comes from the Food 52 cookbook and their title for it is "Absurdly Addictive Asparagus". Guaranteed not to disappoint. Especially good as a side dish for salmon."

"This is the vanilla buttercream frosting printed on the back of WIlliams Sonoma's cupcake mixes. Made this and found it to be very simple, yet wonderful. Perfect for generously frosting a dozen cupcakes!"

Love to cook! Love this website!
Thanks to all those who post their wonderful recipes here and share their talents...as well as to those who post the helpful reviews that make us all better in the kitchen.
I've been collecting recipes since high school and now that I am retired, I finally have the time I always wanted in the kitchen. I enjoy trying new recipes several times a week and the challenge of cooking for my family of very picky eaters. I have young twin daughters, two grown stepchildren and a husband who is the love of my life and my best friend. We met in college but didn't get married until just a few years ago...one of those funny "reunion" stories. :-) Life is good.
Coffee, potatoes, basil, garlic, shallots, fresh summer tomatoes, anything spicy, shellfish, fresh fruit, chocolate, wild mushrooms, risotto, roasted beets, goat cheese, red wine. And an occasional dirty martini.

"These are little breakfast frittatas made in a muffin pan and can be refrigerated or frozen and heated as needed. Great for those on-the-go mornings and/or when you are low carbing. A complete breakfast in a muffin."
