    About Me

Total food geek, obviously. RecipeZaar, you are my people! I'm strictly gluten-free. What joy that I finally know how to make my body happy, after so many years of being sick all. the. time. My body is still healing but every day is better and the diet is easier and easier.

    Favorite Foods

On a day-to-day basis I cook with big flavors, in big batches so I can freeze for later. So I tend to go for soups, curries, stews, casseroles, one-dish bakes, and simmer sauces. Oh, and snacks. I always try to have homemade hummus, salmon salad, various dips and treats around to keep me from making bad decisions when I get too hungry and busy to make a whole meal.
I love how improvisational everyone here seems to be. My favorite is when someone reviews a recipe, says it's great, and proceeds to detail how they changed just about every ingredient. Some might be irritated but I think it's great. We inspire each other!
