"Thank you SO much for posting! I have tried many bagel recipes but this was the first that came out close to the bagels I miss from NY/NJ. I did find that I needed to add extr flour to make the dough workable when I shaped the bagels and I added about 1 TB of cinnamon and 1/2 cp of raisins and the came out great!"

"Yum! I've never had fresh pesto sauce before so I'm not sure what I was shooting for but it is tasty! Here's what I changed:We don't have pine nuts where I live but I saw in other recipes that you can use sunflower seeds instead....which I did. I used the broth from bullion and added lemon pepper salt. This will be great over chicken."

"Yum!!! I've never had the original dish so I'm not sure how authenitic mine was, but I will make this again. I followed other reviews' advice and added a sqeeze of lime, more soy sauce, and scrambled eggs. I also left out the cilantro since my husband doesn't like it and added a good spinkle of chili powder since where I live we don't have the ..."

"This was terrific!! I used 1/2 bullion cube and 1/2 cup of water instead of the broth (it's all I had on hand and lowered the salt a little because of this. I only used only 2 drumsticks and 2 thighs since it's just me and my husband and me, I left the sauce the same which was great for extra for the noodles. I also used plain yogurt instead o..."

"Great!! I will definitely make this again! I left out the pepper and instead added lemon pepper seasoning to give it the extra lemon kick I thought it needed. Maybe my lemons were just a little weak though. This would be a great meal for company - you could just make extra sauce and throw it in a crockpot to keep it warm."

"Oh my! There are no words...AMAZING!! I live overseas and don't have green chilies, so I added some chili powder and cumin right to the sauce to give it a kick. I also used less chicken and instead added some beans to the filling to save some money. This is a DEFINITE repeat, and great for company since it can be made ahead of time and served..."

"Great! I live overseas where there is no salsa. This saved me time from chopping up tomatoes and it tasted better! Next time I think i'll cut down on the parsley since the taste was pretty strong (but I"m not a fan. My husband says it was almost as good as the bottled stuff...not bad!!"

"Yum! I didn't have any almonds but I did have some chopped up cahews, and they worked great. I cut back a little on the oil since I wanted more tang and added orange pieces. I am bringing it to my in-laws so I'll find out how it goes over with a group...but I loved sampling it as I made it!"
