    About Me

I am hanging up my working hat after a lifetime in the workforce, and anticipate replacing it with a chef's cap at home indulging my cooking passion far more frequently than just weekends! I have a bookcase full of cookbooks and recipe magazines waiting for the impending experiments.

    Favorite Foods

When I evaluate a recipe I look for ingredients I love, and a recipe that is healthy, so I always check the nutritional facts labeling if available. My vegetable bin is always overflowing - they are my favorite food of all. To me, chopping is therapeutic and I don't mind mincing, shredding and slicing to have scrumptious salads, main dishes or side dishes. But I also love cooking gadgets and small appliances to help in the preparation and cooking. As healthy a cuisine as I love and enjoy, nothing beats a homemade oatmeal raisin cookie now and then!
