"Quite enjoyable, slightly sweet for me, but I added carrots to the pan and finished them off in the saucepan, good easy addition to my cookbook"

"Very tasty! I cut back a little on the spice quantities for my diners who are not used to seasonings, but there was still plenty of flavour. I had to make one substitution, using stewed tomatoes instead of the soup. Added some actual butter to the top and a squeeze of lemon to suit my taste buds."

"Easy to prepare and quite tasty. Excellent recipe for a quick go at this sort of dish. I used rotisserie chicken for the meat. Fresh basil and the fresh lime juice on finish complete the flavours. I think I'll add some sliced carrot next time."

"Great recipe! I like the texture of barley and it works well for a grain salad. I used all barley because of a wheat allergy and extra lemon with a splash of vinegar to accommodate my tastes.
I can imagine using other grains as well. I put this on a bed of shredded greens and had a delightful lunch."

"Very good! I tried it with sunflower seeds, too, and it was just as good as with almonds."

"Simplicity is always the best. This showcases the Zucchini without hiding it among other vegetables. Its also a good launching pad for creativity. Yummy!"

"The proper classic way to do it. However, I do the microwave cheat at times when pressed for time. :-Don't forget the butter!!"
