    My Journal

I have no recent activity to share.

    About Me

I like cooking, it is therapeutic, it is a way of of being creative and expressing your inner self, you can throw your emotions into it... love, hate, happiness, you can make people smile. Who am I kidding! I love to eat!!!

Fav chefs include: Jamie Oliver, Delia Smith and Ray Mears!?!?!?

Fav Cookbooks: Mosty anything by Jamie, although I don't use many of his recipes I find them fantastic for inspiration. Any old family cookbook, just for the simple how tos on say, preparing veg or preparing a lamb joint for roasting.

Pet Peeves: I hate waste (See my tips for the leftover veg recipe http://www.recipezaar.com/sitenews/post.php?pid=665 , hopefully more to come) and I hate pretentious food i.e a slither of salmon on a dollop of mash and a teaspoon of dill butter... I'd rather have a bucket of bangers and mash thank you :)

    Favorite Foods

    Love everything.

I am a bit of a promiscuous cook, never often the same recipe twice and if I do I generally change something.

My meatballs are becoming quite famous, I'll post the recipe when I have a minute or two.
