    "Weeknight go-to side dish, goes with just about anything. I use Jasmine rice, any white rice will work, but if you use brown rice, you'll need to adjust cooking times and liquid accordingly. The soy sauce adds some depth, but this isn't an Asian side dish, it's pretty versatile."

    "Super easy, definitely benefits from longer marinating time, but still good with about an hour. Put these under the broiler for 5 - 6 min instead of grilling, it was excellent. Whole family ate it, no leftovers!"

    I live on the coast of Florida, near St. Pete. Great seafood abounds here! Cooking good, family friendly meals is my passion, and my kids are as into it as I am. (My 3 year old cracks a mean egg!)

    Favorite Foods

    Love it all - grilling seafood, especially, but also good comfort foods - Potatoes Au Gratin, Pot Roast, Roasted Lemon Pepper Chicken... I also enjoy trying new and different things, but only when I feel like it. When I don't feel like it, we eat spaghetti or mac and cheese, which is just fine, too!
    I'm recently into bread making, which always intimidated me... something about living yeasties was just scary, but now we only eat homemade bread, which is a little easier on the budjet, if not on the clock.
