"We loved this casserole. I made1and 1/2 recipe. I replaced the tomato sauce with another can of tomato soup and precooked the rice with about 1 cup of water. I then only added 1 cup of water over the top. This then decreased the cooking time by 1/2 hour. It turned out great, rice soft and casserole full of flavor. I foresee this being on our table..."

"Very nice recipe although I did think it was a bit salty. I did use less than half the salt
for a double recipe. The meat is very flavorful and juicy and for that gave it 5 stars. The salt can be easily adjusted. I will make this one again with this very minor adjustment. Thanks for sharing your recipe."
