    About Me

I have a hubby & 3 boys, work full time (ugh!), love to crochet, and am ALWAYS thinking of what to feed my family next.

I'm not a natural in the kitchen, but I do enjoy making meals that everyone likes & so does my hubby (thank goodness!).

My 2008 Resolution: To discover, nourish, and flaunt my inner Rachael Ray! :)

    Favorite Foods

We enjoy a variety of things, but right now my bag is out of tricks - which brings me here...

Our absolute favorites are Mexican food & Chinese food - however, these are usually our restaurant choices. Being from California & maybe a teensy bit persnickety, it's hard to find either that compares to what we know & love here on this side of the country. Amazing how these two "international" cuisines can be so different from one coast of America to the other, but they are. Another reason to play in our own kitchen, right?

San Francisco style sourdough bread is another much loved & much missed treat that I would love to get better at making. Send starter - and clear, concise, kindergarten level instructions. Better yet, send bread machine! :) haha (You only think I am kidding...)

Here in the "House O' Testosterone" meat & carbs on the plate are expected - I don't think that's going to change anytime soon, so it's up to me to get creative.
