"Delicious! I did make several changes though: Instead of banana, I used a 128ml jar of prune & oat baby food and, to compensate for the lower moisture, I added about 1/3 cup of buttermilk. I also omitted the cinnamon and used (a lot of fresh ginger and used chunks of frozen peach instead of nuts. Thank you for sharing this recipe :"

"Very nice! Neither the banana though the matcha was overpowering, which I was afraid of. Omitted the ice cubes... I have also added frozen peach slices to this smoothie and it really works well with it. Thanks for sharing :"

"These are indeed soft and heavenly! I used the ginger "paste" left over after making and filtering ginger syrup - about 1/4 cup. Since it was already sweetened, I lowered the sugar to 3/4 cups. I also omitted all the other spices as I wanted the ginger flavour to shine; used blackstrap molasses, subbed the all the water but 1 tbsp with 1 large egg..."

"This stuff is really delicious! I did make a few modifications: since I don't like using artificial sweeteners, I increased the dates to 175g and subbed 2 tbsp agave nectar for the Splenda. I also added 100g chopped hazelnuts and used whole wheat flour.
Thank you for sharing this Wendy!"

"This is an a-maz-ing recipe! I did the lazy-man's version and I just threw the chopped onion, minced garlic, small Dupuy lentils, pineapple, plantain, spices, 2 cups of tomato juice, and 1 cup of water in a heavy pot and simmered (covered for about 45 min."

"Yum, yum, yum!! I did make some modifications... I used canned mandarin segments instead of the pineapple because my can of pineapple was much too big and subbed the pecans for walnuts. I also omitted the oil in the cake because my yogurt was 6% fat. Finally, I didn't have an apple so I added a snack-sized container of applesauce. Delicious! Baked..."

"I have a 6 hour final tomorrow (no breaks so I'll be sipping on this and munching on spiced walnuts to keep me going through the day. I used fresh dates of Bam as the Medjool were too expensive, but it still tasted great! I processed the dates with half the water to make it smoother, then added the remaining water and passed through a sieve to re..."

"I like how this recipe uses less sugar than most meringue recipes! I didn't have superfine sugar, so I used 1tbsp vanilla sugar and 2 tbsp powdered sugar (to equal 1/4 cup. I also coarsely chopped up my cocoa nibs. I wanted bite-size cookies, so I piped 25 (1-inch mounds and baked 40 minutes, turning pan after 20 minutes and cooling 2 hours in t..."

"How evil... This cake bears well its name because it is evil to hide vegetables in a chocolate cake!
I've made this cake many times, using buttermilk or subbing it with evaporated milk, coconut milk, almond milk... my favourite being the evaporated (but they were all great! I've never used the whole 2 cups of sugar, but usually use somet..."

"Yum! Butter is definitely not missed! I was making lemon-meringue cupcakes so instead of the egg, I used the 4 egg yolks left over from the meringue - I was afraid the curd would taste too "eggy" but it was perfect. I also lowered the sugar to 4 tbsp. Firmed up nicely, colour was beautiful, and lemon flavour was very present. I had just the right ..."
