I like to try new healthy recipes, and I especially like to find ways to make my favorite foods healthier. I don't have a whole lot of time, so quick and simple is best for me. I am always looking for ways to help my family eat healthier. It has paid off. In the last year, I've lost 60 lbs through diet and exercise, and my husband's health has improved greatly. I have a six year old son, and he was raised on mostly healthy cooking, so he already enjoys whole grain breads and pastas, lean means and a variety of fruits, nuts and vegetables.
CHOCOLATE! It is my downfall.
I also love salads, spicy dishes (Asian, Mexican and Indian cuisine), pastas (particularly lasagna!), and cheeses. I think it is important to eat a variety of foods and not get too used to the same thing.
