"Edited to add: Still make this recipe all of the time! I now veganize it by using vegan margarine and coconut milk. Honestly can't tell the difference from "regular" sugar cookies! great recipe! I am making cookies for my BIL's wedding (at the house beforehand, so I wanted something a little more special, so I made the dough (doubled and re..."

"These are some of the best beans ever! The only changes I made was to lower the olive oil to 2 Tbs total, used a red bell pepper rather than greeen and I didn't have any Bay Leaf so left it out. I don't know that those two things could make these better, but will use the bay leaf next time. I made these for later in the week, and will be servin..."

"Seriously amazing recipe! Made as written, except for using dried parsley rather than fresh, and using chickpea flour instead of wheat. I had a bit of trouble keeping them together, but that was user error, not the recipe. My food processor went to that great kitchen in the sky, and I had to use my vita mix to mix the chickpeas. It doesn't do ..."

"great recipe! Followed the directions exactly, except for the seasoning. I used a pepper seasoning I have, mixed with a bit of cayenne for some heat. Turned out beautiful. I shaved the meat for roast beef sandwiches for the week. Much tastier and healthier and cheaper than buying cold cuts. Hubby is very happy right now! Thank you for sharin..."

"This is an awesome recipe! It's something that both my husband and I enjoyed, which doesn't happen often, as we have such different tastes. I try to make a batch of marina sauce every week, and used that with the squash. Used a blend of smoked Gouda, smoked Cheddar and Parmesan. I made it two nights ago.. and am making a double batch right now..."

"This was a big hit at our house. I tweaked the recipe a bit... only 3 Tbs of sugar, and I used full fat coconut milk in place of the safflower oil. I also ended up using 1 tsp of cornstarch for the sauce, as I found it to be too runny. Served with rice noodles, stir fried peppers, onions and snap peas, and chicken breast."

"great recipe! Made as is. Thought it was a little too watery, and simmered for closer to 30 minutes. Will definitely be making again! Thanks for sharing the recipe!"

"These were awesome! Thanks to Trixyinaz, I did the trick of rolling on parchment then cutting out. I did half a recipe and got 24 cookies, with some dough left over... probably would have gotten about 30 cookies. I also found that 9 minutes was enough for my oven. They do remind me of a shortbread cookie more than a sugar cookie.. but very good ..."

"This is a great sauce! I did make a few changes, based on personal preference. I lowered the sugar to 1/3 c, omitted the msg and white pepper and replaced the ketchup with 2 Tbs chili sauce. I made some asian style meatballs, served with the sauce over basmati rice. DH and I both enjoyed it. It was too spicy for 2 year old daughter with the ..."
