"Excellent recipe...made it for guests that love to have them at a restaurant. I increased it for 6 servings, and added 1 T sugar and a teaspoon sugar, and about 1/2-1 teaspoon cardamon. Served with ligonberries and lemon wedges."

"Excellent salad that was easy. My substitutions...didn't have olives, or green pepper. Cut up the artichokes fairly small. After getting the lemon juice, diced up the rest of the lemon, pulp and peel and added to the dressing. Shredded some leftover chicken from last night. Served mine over arugula, with a flat bread. Excellent."

"Great recipe, loved the oatmeal, and I made mine with 1 cup flour and 1 cup whole wheat. Also didn't have heavy cream, so used buttermilk instead. Did add some cinnamon after trying the first ones, it intensified the flavor. My husband loved it and couldn't believe that there was no additional fats in it."

"Excellent - made for Easter today for my husband and I. Served with a baked potato, and Orange Glazed Salmon Fillets with Rosemary from Cooking Light April 2009. My husband doesn't like asparagus; but told me to put this in the keeper file. Thanks."

"Excellent moist bread. Doubled the recipe and made 5 mini loaves. Also used 1/4 cup of applesauce and 1/4 cup oil instead of 1/2 cup oil. It was delicious, and we served it later with coffee, and some soft cream cheese spread. Will go into my recipe file for holiday bread giving."

"Excellent flavor. Used it to rub on a pork butt roast that I slow cooked. When I first tasted it after it was almost done, I thought it was too spicy; but after cooking and shredding the meat, the flavors were fabulous. Plus I still have a lot left over for something else."

"I'm adding my vote to this quick cake. Had a cake craving for the last couple days, but didn't want to do a full-out baking session. I remembered that I used to make a one pan cake when my boys were younger, and search zaar for one. Since it's only the 2 of us, I halved the recipe. Used dark cocoa, all coffee (from the morning) and also sprink..."

"Great deli type salad. So many recipes are creamy. I like the vinegar & oil type also. This was made to go with Carolina Style Pulled Pork SandwichRecipe #116173. The Coleslaw has only been in the fridge for 7 hours; but tastes great. We'll see if tomorrow makes it any different. Am still looking for a vinegar and oil coleslaw with poppy se..."

    LinMarie says:

"It definitely was better than the boiled soggy brussel sprouts that I grew up with. Though I liked it enough to have a large serving, there was still some bitterness to the recipe. Could it be that the spouts were larger? Or, I read in another site that cutting the core out completely will remove the bitterness, would that help? Either way, I ..."
