    About Me

My husband and I make our home in the Western part of the beautiful state of North Carolina. I could never imagine myself living anywhere else.

I have been married  32 years to an incredible guitar player. We are proud parents of one daughter and a son-in-law, no grandbabies yet. Our home is definitely pet friendly with a long haired Chihuahua, a Shih Tzu and Turkish Van inside and our Yellow Lab outside.

By day, I plan tours, recreational activities and events for corporate groups visiting Asheville, NC. I love my job but look forward everyday to being at home in my kitchen where I am most comfortable.

I love to entertain and few things make me happier than having guests in my home. Small intimate gatherings, holiday celebrations or large deck parties, I love them all.

    Favorite Foods

I LOVE food in general, but Southern comfort food is my mainstay. Thankfully my husband is willing to try most everything and always encourages me with his praise.

My family views me as a finicky eater but really the only things I truly dislike are fruits that contain tiny seeds, like tomatoes, blackberries, blueberries and strawberries. Fresh vegetables straight from the garden are the best of the best.
